Connect Fanzava to Slack to automatically post round reminders, results, and leaderboard updates to your team’s channels.

Connecting Slack

1. Go to Admin → Integrations → Slack
2. Click Connect to Slack
3. Sign in to your Slack workspace and authorise Fanzava
4. Select which channel(s) to post to
5. Click Allow

What Fanzava can post

Notification	When	Content
Round reminder	Before round lock	“Round X tips are due before [time]. Submit yours now →”
Round results	After round scoring	Top 3 scorers, round winner, leaderboard leader
Leaderboard update	After each round	Top 5 with points and changes from last round
Lead change	When #1 position changes	“Alex just took the lead from Jordan!”
Perfect round	When someone tips every game	Celebrates the achievement
Season milestone	Mid-season, finals	Engagement messages

Configuring notifications

1. Go to Admin → Integrations → Slack → Notifications
2. Toggle each notification type on or off
3. For each active notification, select the target channel
4. Set the timing for round reminders (e.g. 4 hours before first lock)
5. Save

You can post different notification types to different channels. Round reminders can go to #general while leaderboard updates go to #tipping-comp.

Message format

Fanzava posts rich Slack messages with your hub name and branding colours. Messages include direct links back to the relevant page in your hub.

Quiet hours

Fanzava respects Slack’s notification preferences, but you can also set quiet hours in Admin → Integrations → Slack → Quiet hours to prevent posts outside business hours (e.g. no posts before 8 AM or after 7 PM on weekdays).

Note

The Slack integration posts as the “Fanzava” app, not as a user. Participants in Slack see posts from the Fanzava bot, with your hub name in the message header.
