Manual fixture entry

Manual fixture entry lets you add individual fixtures to any competition, either to supplement a live data feed or to run a fully manual custom sport competition.

Adding a single fixture to a live-data competition

Section titled “Adding a single fixture to a live-data competition”

You might need this if:

  • A fixture is added to the schedule after Fanzava has already imported the round
  • A makeup game is scheduled mid-week
  • The data feed missed a fixture

Steps:

  1. Go to Admin → Competition → Rounds → [Round]
  2. Click Add fixture manually
  3. Enter team names, date, and start time
  4. Save

The fixture appears immediately on the tipping page. Participants can tip it until its lock time.

After the game:

  1. Click the fixture in the round view
  2. Enter the result
  3. Click Confirm result

If the fixture was in a round that has already been fully scored, Fanzava rescores the round and updates affected leaderboard positions.

You can edit a fixture’s details (teams, start time) before it locks. You can remove a fixture before any participant has submitted a tip for it.

Once tips have been submitted, you can still remove a fixture. Existing tips for it are voided and the round is rescored.

For custom sport competitions with many fixtures, upload a CSV:

Column Description
round Round number or name
team_a Home team name
team_b Away team name
date Date (YYYY-MM-DD)
time Local kick-off time (HH:MM, 24-hour)
timezone IANA timezone string (e.g. Australia/Sydney)

Download a template from Admin → Competition → Import fixtures → Download template.
