Banter Board moderation
Hub admins can moderate all Banter Board activity. You don’t need to be present in real time — Fanzava provides tools to review and act on posts retrospectively, and participants can flag content for your attention.
Viewing all posts
Section titled “Viewing all posts”Go to Admin → Banter Board to see every post across all competitions in your hub, sorted by newest first. Filter by:
- Competition
- Participant
- Date range
- Flagged posts only
Deleting a post
Section titled “Deleting a post”- Find the post (in the admin or on the Banter Board itself)
- Click the three-dot menu → Delete post
- Confirm
The post is removed immediately. The participant is not notified unless you choose to send them a warning message.
Warning a participant
Section titled “Warning a participant”After deleting a post, you can optionally send the participant a warning:
- After deletion, click Send warning
- Choose a warning template or write a custom message
- Send
The warning is sent as a direct email from your hub.
Banning a participant from the Banter Board
Section titled “Banning a participant from the Banter Board”If a participant repeatedly posts inappropriate content:
- Go to Admin → Participants → [Participant]
- Click Banter Board access
- Select Suspend (temporary) or Ban (permanent)
- Save
A suspended/banned participant can still tip and use the hub — they just can’t post on the Banter Board.
Participant flagging
Section titled “Participant flagging”Participants can flag posts they find inappropriate using the flag icon on any post. Flagged posts appear in Admin → Banter Board → Flagged for your review.
Fanzava does not automatically remove flagged posts — you decide whether to act.
Pre-moderation mode
Section titled “Pre-moderation mode”If you want to approve posts before they’re visible:
- Go to Admin → Competitions → [Competition] → Banter Board → Moderation
- Select Pre-moderation
- Save
In pre-moderation mode, posts appear in an admin queue and are only published after you approve them. This is recommended for public-facing or sensitive competitions.
