Perfect round bonus

The perfect round bonus awards extra points to any participant who tips every single fixture in a round correctly.

Enabling the bonus

1. Go to Admin → Competition → Settings → Scoring
2. Toggle Perfect round bonus on
3. Set the bonus point value (default: 5)

How it works

After round scoring completes, Fanzava checks whether any participant picked every fixture correctly. Those who did receive the bonus added to their round total.

The bonus applies to the round total, not to individual fixture scores. It doesn’t interact with jokers, weighted fixtures, or margin bonuses — it’s simply added on top.

Rounds with late tips or missed fixtures

A participant who didn’t submit a tip for every fixture in a round is not eligible for the perfect round bonus, even if all the tips they did submit were correct.

If a fixture is cancelled and removed from the round after tips have been submitted, the reduced fixture set is used for the perfect round check.

Signalling the perfect round

Fanzava sends an automated notification to participants who achieve a perfect round (if round result emails are enabled). The round leaderboard also highlights perfect-round achievers.

Even in a long competition, a perfect round bonus creates water-cooler moments. Consider increasing the bonus value for finals rounds to raise the stakes.
