Connect Fanzava to Microsoft Teams to post round reminders, results, and leaderboard updates directly to your team channels.

Connecting Microsoft Teams

1. Go to Admin → Integrations → Microsoft Teams
2. Click Connect to Teams
3. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account and grant the required permissions
4. Select the team and channel to post to
5. Click Allow

What Fanzava can post

Notification	When
Round reminder	Before round lock (configurable timing)
Round results	After round scoring completes
Leaderboard update	After each round
Lead change	When the #1 leaderboard position changes
Perfect round alert	When a participant tips every game correctly

Configuring notifications

1. Go to Admin → Integrations → Microsoft Teams → Notifications
2. Toggle each notification type on or off
3. For each active notification, choose the target channel
4. Set timing and quiet hours as needed
5. Save

Posting to multiple channels

You can post to multiple Teams channels simultaneously. For example:

• Round reminders → General channel (all staff see them)
• Leaderboard updates → #tipping-comp channel (participants checking in)
• Lead changes → #leadership channel (executive engagement)

Add additional channel connections in Admin → Integrations → Microsoft Teams → Channels.

Adaptive Cards

Fanzava uses Microsoft Adaptive Cards for rich message formatting in Teams. Messages include your hub name, the relevant data, and a button linking back to your hub.

Note

The Teams integration requires your Microsoft 365 administrator to allow third-party app connections. If you receive a permission error during setup, contact your IT team to approve the Fanzava app in the Microsoft Admin Centre.
