Getting started as a tipper

Welcome to Fanzava. Your organisation has set up a tipping competition and you’ve been invited to join. Here’s how to get started.

Step 1 — Accept your invitation

You’ll receive an email invitation from your hub (it’ll come from your organisation’s name, not Fanzava). Click the Join the competition button in the email.

If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder. The invitation link is valid for 7 days. If it’s expired, ask your competition organiser to resend it.

Step 2 — Create your account

On the join page, you’ll be asked to:

1. Confirm your name (you can set a display name if you prefer)
2. Set a password (or continue with Google if your organiser has set that up)
3. Accept the terms

That’s your account created — you’re in.

Step 3 — Choose your competitions

If your hub has multiple competitions running (e.g. AFL tipping + an NRL bracket), you can join any or all of them. Go to Competitions in the nav and click Join on the ones you want.

Step 4 — Submit your first tips

Click on a competition to see the current round’s fixtures. For each game:

1. Click the team you think will win
2. If margin prediction is enabled, enter your predicted winning margin
3. If jokers are enabled, tap the joker icon on your best pick

Click Submit tips when you’re done. You can come back and change your picks any time before the round locks.

Tip

You don’t have to tip every game in a round — but games you don’t tip score zero. Tipping all games, even if you’re unsure, gives you the best chance of accumulating points.

Step 5 — Watch the leaderboard

After the round’s results are confirmed, check the Leaderboard to see how you went. You’ll also receive a results email (if your organiser has that enabled) showing your round score and position.

Note

Your account only works for the hub you were invited to. If you’re in multiple competitions through different organisations, each has its own hub and login.
