The leaderboard

The leaderboard shows how all participants in the competition rank by total points. It updates automatically after each round is scored.

Each row shows:

  • Rank — your current position (1 = leading)
  • Name — participant’s display name
  • Total points — cumulative points across all scored rounds
  • Last round — points in the most recent round
  • Change — how many positions you moved since last round (▲ up, ▼ down, — unchanged)

If your hub uses groups (departments, teams, offices), there’s a separate leaderboard tab for each group you belong to. Click the tabs at the top of the leaderboard to switch between:

  • All — everyone in the competition
  • [Your group name] — only your group’s members

Your rank on a group leaderboard may differ from your overall rank.

If two participants have the same total points, Fanzava applies tiebreaker rules (usually by number of correct tips, then last round performance). Tied participants may share a rank — e.g. two participants tied for 3rd both show as “3rd”.

The leaderboard updates after each round’s results are fully scored. This typically happens within minutes of the last fixture’s final result being confirmed. For custom sports with manual result entry, the leaderboard updates as you enter each result.

Click View history on the leaderboard to see how positions have changed round by round. This shows the full journey of the competition — who started strong, who came from behind, and how your position has tracked.
