Participant FAQ

I didn’t receive my invitation email. What do I do?

Section titled “I didn’t receive my invitation email. What do I do?”

Check your spam or junk folder first — invitation emails can occasionally be filtered. If it’s not there, ask your competition organiser to resend the invitation from their admin dashboard.

If you received it but the link isn’t working, the invitation may have expired (links are valid for 7 days). Ask your organiser to send a new one.

Yes, up until each fixture’s lock time. Click on a fixture and update your pick. There’s no need to resubmit — changes save automatically.

Once a fixture’s lock time has passed, you cannot change that pick. Tips for fixtures that haven’t locked yet are still editable.

If you miss a fixture’s lock time, you score zero for that game. The competition continues and you can still tip all future rounds. Missing one round doesn’t remove you from the competition.

Why is my position on the leaderboard different from what I expected?

Section titled “Why is my position on the leaderboard different from what I expected?”

If you’re tied with another participant on total points, tiebreakers apply (usually total correct tips, then last-round performance). Two participants in a tie may both show the same rank.

If your score looks wrong, check My tips → [Round] to see the breakdown. If you believe there’s an error, contact your competition organiser.

I can see tips from other participants before the round has played. Is that right?

Your hub admin controls tip visibility. Some hubs show picks before results, some hide them until after the round. If you’re seeing others’ tips, your hub is configured to show them — this is intentional.

Yes, if your hub runs multiple competitions (e.g. AFL tipping and an NRL bracket), you can join and participate in all of them from the same account.

Click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any email. You can unsubscribe from specific email types (e.g. round reminders only) or all emails. You’ll still be able to log in and tip — unsubscribing only affects emails.

Try the Forgot password link on the login page. You’ll receive a password reset email.

If you signed up with Google and are having trouble, make sure you’re using the same Google account you used when you joined.

If you’re still stuck, contact your competition organiser — they can see your account status in the admin and resend your welcome email.

Your tipping data (name, picks, scores) is visible to other participants on the leaderboard and, in some configurations, on the tips page. Your email address is not shown to other participants.

Your data is held by your organisation (the hub admin), not shared publicly. See your hub’s privacy settings for more detail, or contact your organiser.

Contact your competition organiser. They can remove you from the hub, which removes your access and stops any email notifications.
